“When I first came to South Africa, I couldn’t speak or understand English. It was a very challenging time for me, and I felt isolated because I had no friends and didn’t know where to start. But everything changed when I started attending AFM BCT church. Through my brother, I was introduced to The Experience Youth, and from that moment, my life began to take a new direction.
This youth ministry became more than just a place to gather – it became my spiritual home. I found a family, true friendship, and most importantly, I found myself growing deeper in Christ. I began to understand the power of worship, the beauty of fellowship, and the importance of walking in the Spirit.
One of the themes that really touched my heart was "The Fruits of the Spirit". Learning about love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and all the other fruits helped shape my character and drew me closer to God. We also explored the Gifts of the Spirit, and I felt encouraged and empowered to use what God has placed in me to serve others.
The worship sessions have been powerful, the teachings life-changing, and the environment full of love. Today, I can confidently say that The Experience Youth helped me find purpose, confidence, and my true identity in Christ.

Attending The Experience was truly life-changing. It wasn’t just a camp — it was an encounter with God in the most powerful way. From the praise and worship sessions to the heartfelt teachings that challenged and inspired me, every moment felt intentional and Spirit-led. I connected with people who shared my faith, prayed together, laughed together, and grew together. It was in the quiet moments of reflection that I felt God speak to my heart the loudest. The Experience has deepened my understanding of God’s love, and left me with friendships and memories I’ll carry for a lifetime. Not only did i make new friends,I forgot my problems the whole weekend and was reminded that God is in control of all things.It wasn’t just an event; it was a divine encounter that transformed my life, a divine encounter with the most High.

Since becoming part of The Experience Youth in 2024, my spiritual life has taken a profound turn for the better. One of the most transformative moments for me was during the youth camp. Surrounded by fellow believers, worship, and powerful teachings, I found myself drawing closer to God in a deeply personal and meaningful way. It was there that I truly encountered His presence and began to understand the depth of His love.
Through The Experience, I’ve learnt so much about Jesus as our Saviour—not just in theory, but in a way that has become real and active in my life. I now understand His sacrifice on a deeper level and recognise Him as the foundation of my faith and daily walk.
Moreover, this journey has taught me how to serve God wholeheartedly. I’ve gained clarity on how to pray with purpose and how to live each day with intention. Serving has become more than just an activity—it’s now a lifestyle guided by God’s will and rooted in love for others.
Overall, The Experience has helped shape my identity as a follower of Christ. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learnt, and I look forward to growing even more in faith and service.

Well, my experience ever I since I participated at first has been the same & if not the same, it's been more amazing with camps that stand out the most for me.
You are part of the new family in christ with a warm welcome, whether you are new, old, or always present in every youth service.
The youth band is always on fire & ready to take us deeper in the presence of God.
The youth reminds you that we all here gathered in his name & not in the name of our spiritual leaders.
We are taught strictly from the word & not from any other entity.
